The Moving Body Project

Who This Is For

The Moving Body Project is for people who already have some kind of relationship with movement—whether that’s through sport, exercise, walking, dance, or simply paying attention to the body in daily life.

It’s for those who sense that movement holds more than just physical outcomes.
More than progress, performance, or routine.

You might come here if you’re curious about:

  • what you notice when you slow down

  • how your body actually feels while you move

  • what your movement practices say about you

  • how to express those experiences through words, images, or conversation

You don’t need to be “fit,” experienced, or creative.
Just willing to be attentive, curious, and open.

Who This Is Not For

This is not a workout class.

There is no training program, no performance coaching, and no focus on optimizing your body.

If you’re looking for:

  • structured fitness sessions

  • technique correction or instruction

  • measurable outcomes or physical goals

this space will likely feel misaligned.

Instead, this is a space to step alongside your existing movement life—and explore it in a different way.

What You’ll Be Doing

Each month, we gather to:

  • reflect on your personal experiences with movement

  • engage with creative prompts (writing, imagery, simple exercises)

  • explore gentle, accessible ways of noticing the body

  • share and listen in a small, thoughtful group

There’s no pressure to perform, share perfectly, or get anything “right.”

This is a practice of:
observing, expressing, and relating to your body with more depth and imagination.

A Different Kind of Practice

The Moving Body Project isn’t about becoming better at movement.

It’s about becoming more in relationship with it.

Over time, this can shift how you:

  • approach effort and rest

  • understand your habits and patterns

  • experience your body from the inside

  • and connect movement with meaning
