I am a photographer and facilitator with 20 years of experience designing and delivering creative projects. I have recently completed a PhD in Art & Design at Sheffield Hallam University, where my research explores morally challenging moments in critical care nursing through photography and storytelling.

I am passionate about portrait photography, particularly the nuances of human interaction and connection and I love helping clients celebrate themselves and their projects. My editorial work has been widely published, reflecting my approach to storytelling through images. I enjoy working across diverse contexts and regularly engage in international artist residencies and commissions. My personal work is inspired by human stories and the role of performance in activating creative expression, and I frequently collaborate with professionals from a wide range of disciplines.

I have developed workshops and courses for renowned institutions including Tate, Wellcome Collection, The V&A, The Photographers’ Gallery, and the Horniman Museum. I have extensive experience in socially engaged, community, and arts and health projects, working with organisations such as the Greater London Authority, Brixton House & South London & Maudsley Hospital, Age UK. I have developed photography workshops and courses for young people and have ongoing partnerships with social services departments across several London boroughs.

Since completing my PhD I have developed a series of new workshops and programmes creatively exploring: Women’s Health, Movement & Embodiment, Preventative Heath & Wellbeing and Family Histories & Heritage (to name a few!)

I have also worked as a visiting lecturer at institutions including the University of the Arts London, Royal College of Art, UCL, Westminster University, University of New Mexico, and Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture.
